Privacy policy

This is a translation for your convenience. The German-language privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Sabine & Dirk Preuten
Sandstraße 58a
46562 Voerde
Email: anfrage@ferienwohnung-dorfblick-winterberg.de

2. General information on data processing

As a rule, we only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing is generally carried out only with the user's consent or on one of the legal bases of the GDPR.

3. Accessing the website & server log files

When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits (e.g. browser type, operating system, date and time of access, IP address). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Hosting provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner: René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the provider.

4. Contact and enquiry form

If you contact us via the contact or availability form, the details you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests, information on pet/cot and your message) are stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to your enquiry). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Price calculator: The entries in the availability calculator are used solely for the non-binding sample calculation in the browser and are not transmitted to us or stored without submitting an enquiry.

5. Booking processing

As part of a booking, we process the data required for the rental contract (e.g. name, address, contact details, travel data, payment information). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law) remain unaffected.

6. Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies or local storage only to the extent required for basic functions. Should optional services (e.g. maps or reach measurement) be integrated in future, we will obtain your consent for this.

7. Fonts (locally hosted)

For a consistent display, this website uses so-called web fonts (the "Newsreader" and "Hanken Grotesk" typefaces). These are integrated locally on our server and loaded exclusively from there. There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and no personal data – in particular no IP addresses – is transmitted to third parties.

8. Availability check (calendar)

On the "Availability & Prices" page we compare the period you select with our occupancy calendar. The calendar is retrieved server-side via our host; no personal data of yours is transmitted to the calendar provider. Price calculation and availability checks take place without storing your entries — only when you submit an enquiry is the data you provide transmitted to us (see section 4).

9. Reach measurement & visitor statistics

To improve our offering, we collect anonymous access statistics. When you visit the website, a random, anonymous identifier is stored in your browser (localStorage), by means of which individual page views are grouped into a session. A session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity.

We record: pages visited, time spent, the language used, the referring page, and whether a price calculation or an enquiry was carried out. The evaluation is carried out exclusively anonymously; no IP addresses are stored, no personal profiles are created and no data is passed on to third parties. We are unable to link the statistics to a specific person.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and statistical evaluation of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to the collection by deleting the stored browser data (localStorage) for this website or by disabling scripts in your browser.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is, among others, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

11. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or unauthorised access. Transmission is encrypted (SSL/TLS).
